【Indications】
1. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). 
2. Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis. 
3. Long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in patients with esophagitis who have been cured. 
4. Symptom control of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in combination with appropriate antibacterial therapy to eradicate Helicobacter pylori. 
5. Healing of duodenal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. 
6. Prevent recurrence of peptic ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori.

【Dosage】
1. Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis, 40mg once a day for four weeks.
2. For patients with uncured esophagitis or persistent symptoms, it is recommended to take another drug for four weeks. Long-term maintenance therapy to prevent relapse in patients with already cured esophagitis, 20 mg once daily.
3. Symptom control of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Patients without esophagitis 20mg once daily. If symptoms are not controlled after 4 weeks of use, the patient should be further investigated. Once symptoms have resolved, subsequent symptom control can be achieved with immediate therapy, i.e., 20 mg orally once daily when needed.
4. Combine with appropriate antibacterial therapy to eradicate Helicobacter pylori, and heal duodenal ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori, prevent recurrence of peptic ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori: esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated tablets 20 mg + amoxicillin 1 g + clarithromycin 500 mg, 2 times a day for 7 days. 

【Adverse reactions】
The following adverse effects have been identified or suspected in clinical trials of esomeprazole, none of which are dose-related. Common reactions 1. (1/100, 1/10): headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, nausea/vomiting, constipation; Rare reactions 2. (1/1000, 1/100): dermatitis, itching, urticaria, dizziness, dry mouth. Rare reactions 3. (1/10000, 1/1000): allergic reactions, such as angioedema, anaphylaxis, elevated hepatic aminotransferases. The following adverse reactions have been observed in the use of racemates (omeprazole), so they may also occur in the use of esomeprazole. 4. Central and peripheral nervous system: paresthesia, drowsiness, insomnia, vertigo. Reversible delirium, agitation, aggression, depression, and hallucinations, mainly in patients with severe illness.

【Taboo】
Those who are known to be allergic to esomeprazole, other benzimidazole compounds or any other ingredients of this product are banned.

【Drug Interactions】
Absorption of ketoconazole and etraconazole decreases during treatment with esomeprazole. When combined with diazepam, citalopram, imipramine, clomipramine, phenytoin, etc., these drugs may require a lower dose. Therefore, during phenytoin therapy, when using esomeprazole with or discontinuation, it is recommended to monitor the blood concentration of phenytoin. No contraindications to matching.
